Wound Products Ltd manufactures the broadest range of transformers, inductors and wound assemblies of any British manufacturer.

This range includes laminated, ferrite and C-cores, printed circuit coils, transformer, amplifier and alarm units, and extends in size from subminiature coils suitable for microelectronics and surface mounting, to large power transformers capable of handling up to 5 KVA.

Components are designed for either through the board or surface mounted technology, and cover high frequency switch mode and mains frequency applications to UK and international standards, and are available in finishes of resin coat and vacuum varnish impregnation. The spectrum of applications for our products range from electrostatic copiers and computers to military communications,power systems, telecommunications and weapon control systems.

Fast and efficient production is achieved through electronically controlled assembly lines and on-line computer testing. A range of high technology winding machines provide for high volume production and single head machines provide for small batch runs under Engineering control. Production teams look into every aspect of new component or assembly manufacture to ensure precise and controlled production of a customer's order at every stage from winding through to final test.
